Roger R. Love, 86, died of injuries sustained in a Bethlehem assault involving his grandson, Justin A. Love, while being taken to Hunterdon Medical Center Monday, Acting Prosecutor Michael Williams said in a joint statement with state police.
After a brief struggle with police, the younger Love was arrested and charged with resisting arrest, aggravated assault on his grandfather and a law enforcement officer.
Following his grandfather's death, Love was charged with murder.
